Why insects;
As the demand for sustainably produced animal feed and human food increases, insects will play an important role in providing quality food while minimizing the environmental impact.
- Naturally Nutritious
Free-range chickens seek insects for food. Fishing enthusiasts use worm bait on the tip of their fishing rods to catch fish. Birds, cats, and many other animals enjoy insects as part of their natural diet.
Our products are made from Black Soldier Fly larvae, a beneficial insect known for it’s rich nutritional profile. These insects are high in protein, calcium, and lauric acid, making them a preferred species.
- Sustainable
More than 30% of food is wasted, often sent to landfills and emits toxic greenhouse gases that are harmful to the environment. Black Soldier Fly larvae provide an invaluable solution at this point as they convert waste from organic matter to larval biomass. It recycles waste into the food chain.
We use fruit, vegetables and pre-fork traceable waste to feed Black Soldier Fly larvae.
- Environmentalist
We are progressing by high efficiency, low carbon and water footprint per unit area. In addition to soy and fish flour, we produce environmentally friendly, natural, sustainable alternative raw materials that can be substituted for coconut and palm oil.
